What to include
- Your iPhone or iPad model and iOS version (Settings → General → About).
- What you were doing when it happened — which tab, which reading or chart — and what you expected instead.
- A screenshot or screen recording if you have one. Turn on "Hide my actual weight" in Share your progress if you would rather not show your numbers.
- For an import problem, which app or scale the file came from (Apple Health, RENPHO, Withings, Fitbit or another). Please do not send the file itself unless you are happy for us to see the readings in it.
Apple Health
If a sync brings in nothing, check the permission first. In the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps, then WeightStock, and turn on Weight and Body Fat Percentage. Then in WeightStock go to Settings → Apple Health → Sync from Apple Health. WeightStock only reads from Apple Health; it never writes to it, so nothing you do in the app changes your Health data.
Where the purchase is
Open the Settings tab and scroll to Ads. The button there says Remove ads with the price until it is bought; once it is, the banner is gone and the card thanks you instead.
Purchases, restores and refunds
Remove Ads is a one-time purchase sold by Apple through the App Store. Bought it on another device, or reinstalled the app? Settings → Ads → Restore purchase; Apple keeps the receipt on your Apple Account. If a purchase was charged but the ads did not go away, tell us the date and the last four digits of the Apple order number and we will look into it. Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data
WeightStock has no accounts and no servers, so your readings exist only on your device and we cannot recover them for you. Before deleting the app or changing phones, use Settings → Data → Back up everything, and Restore a backup on the new device.
