Overview
Water Play is a kitchen sink to play with, made for young children and for autistic children who are drawn to water. It does not collect any data about you or your child. None at all.
The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party software of any kind. The only company that ever sees anything is Apple, and only if you choose to buy the one in-app purchase. Everything below says what that means precisely.
Contact
Questions or requests about your data: Business@joemet123.com. Put "Water Play" in the subject and you will have a reply within 30 days. Joemet123 LLC is the data controller for this app.
What is collected
Nothing. The app does not ask for your name, your email address, your location, your contacts, your photos, or your microphone or camera. It runs no analytics and shows no advertising.
What leaves the device
Nothing from you. Water Play itself has no networking code: it makes no requests to any server, including the developer's own, and it works the same with the device in aeroplane mode. The one exception is Apple's own App Store framework (StoreKit), which handles the app's single optional purchase and Restore Purchases. That exchange is between your device and Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; the developer never receives your name, your Apple ID or any payment details, and cannot see who bought it.
The in-app purchase
Water Play has one optional purchase, Unlock Everything: a one-time, non-consumable purchase that opens more window themes, wall options, toys and water sounds. There is no subscription and nothing else to buy. It sits behind a grown-up gate (a simple multiplication question) so a child tapping around the settings cannot reach it. Purchases and refunds are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.
What is stored, and where
Only your settings. Water Play remembers the choices made on its settings sheet — which window, wall, toys and water sound you picked — in the app's own preferences on the device, so the sink looks the same next time. Nothing else is saved: no progress, no counters, no files, and nothing is ever uploaded. Deleting the app deletes those preferences. Whether Unlock Everything has been bought is recorded by Apple with your Apple ID, not by the app, which is why Restore Purchases works on a new device.
Children
Water Play is made for young children and is rated 4+. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age, and has no links out of the app other than to Apple's purchase sheet, which sits behind the grown-up gate.
Your rights
